Launch of new game development company Hra01 Ltd.

Zdenek Mezihorak, former designer at the Czech game development company Pterodon/Illusion Softworks (Vietcong, Flying Heroes), has created the new game development studio Hra01 Ltd. together with his brother this past November in Brno, Czech Republic.

The establishment of the company was preceded by a year-long market study, the gathering of contacts necessary to the formation of the company's personnel structure and the creation of the basic design behind the company's first AAA game. Hra01 is now in the pre-production phase and plans to begin with the development of its premiere AAA game in the first half of 2004.

Designer and Team Leader Zdenek Mezihorak commented: "We have several goals: we want to build a stable design studio, create original and entertaining games and achieve a position on the global market. There is certainly a strong basis for establishing a game company in the Czech Republic. One of the ways we intend to differentiate ourselves from other companies is by keeping an emphasis on professional project management. We want to work hard and at the same time have fun."
